Standing on the shoulders of giants




I was browsing around on Chris Battle's blog and he recently had a few people he knew draw him and posted them. Well I don't know him personally (kinda hard anyway, he's on the opposite coast) but I thought I'd take a stab at it. So here it is, a tribute to Chris Battle for his advice and inspiring work. Fire Elemental



I drew this last night and cleaned it up in Illustrator today. I think I will make a set of these because this one turned out cool.

Deer sketch clean up





I thought I'd try outlining in Illustrator and touching up with Photoshop and adding a quick background. I think it turned out relatively well. I would have replaced the old one but I decided I still liked the sketch style and decided to leave it up. Coming soon: My version of the white rabbit. :)
